Hospitality & Events

The moment, shared across the room.

Festivals, weddings, galas, and shows are about experiencing something together. Communication access should be built into the moment from the start.

Hospitality & Events

Lagundo ASL Services provides American Sign Language interpreting for festivals, concerts, weddings, galas, conventions, and resorts across Las Vegas and communities throughout Nevada. This is our home. Co-founded by a Deaf entrepreneur and a CODA interpreter with live-performance experience, we bring production-aware timing, preparation, and hospitality-minded care, with interpreting planned around the event, the room, and the communication needs of Deaf and hard of hearing guests.

Why LAS

Why event teams and venues choose LAS.

Deaf-led, production-aware.

Deaf leadership shapes how we approach communication access, while live-event experience informs the timing, preparation, placement, and presence the room demands.

Hospitality is the whole point.

We match the care your event puts into the guest experience. Warm, prepared, and present, with communication access treated as part of the event rather than an afterthought.

Interpreted with a performer's craft.

For live entertainment, timing, preparation, context, and presence matter. We interpret the language and energy of the moment as it happens, while keeping communication access distinct from the performance itself.

Any scale, any room.

A private wedding, a sold-out festival, a multi-day convention. We staff to the demands of the room and work through timing, placement, logistics, and sightlines in advance for booked events.

What We Cover

Across every kind of event.

Festivals and concerts. Weddings, quinceañeras, and private celebrations. Galas, fundraisers, and awards shows. Conventions, trade shows, and keynotes. Resort and nightlife programming. Brand activations and press events. Wherever people gather for a shared experience, communication access should be part of the plan.

Common Questions

Hospitality & Events access, answered.

Do you interpret weddings and private events?

Yes. Weddings, quinceañeras, galas, and private celebrations are some of our favorite rooms. We bring interpreters who understand the timing, warmth, and flow of the moment so communication access is built into the celebration.

Is an ASL performer the same as an interpreter?

No. A performance signed on stage is art, and it is unforgettable. Communication access, the announcements, the emcee, the safety moments, and everything for every seat all night, is a separate, separately trained craft. We provide both, so the art never comes at the cost of the access.

Who provides the interpreter at a public event?

Under the ADA, the venue or event organizer is responsible for providing effective communication for Deaf and hard of hearing guests when that obligation applies, without charging the guest an additional fee for required access. We help make the coordination clear and manageable. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

Reliability

Ready when your moment is.

A clear answer.

Tell us about your event and we will review the details, confirm what we need, and prepare one clear proposal in writing.

Short notice, taken seriously.

When the timeline is tight, we move fast through our vetted Nevada network and tell you clearly what coverage is realistically available.

Settled before you arrive.

For booked events, we confirm the team, timing, logistics, and sightlines in advance so the access plan is clear before the event begins.

On-site or VRI, based on what works.

We recommend on-site interpreting, VRI, or a combination based on the setting, communication needs, technology, and what will provide effective communication.

Build access into the whole event.

Tell us about your event, property, or production and what access has been requested. We recommend the access approach, staff the appropriate team, plan the logistics, and prepare one clear, all-in proposal.
