Deaf-Led · CODA-Founded · Veteran-Owned
We build the night everyone came for.
Lagundo ASL Services is a Deaf-led American Sign Language interpreting agency,
founded in Las Vegas and serving nationwide.
We exist to help make equal experiences the standard, not the exception.
What Makes Us Singular
Deaf leadership, built into the company.
Deaf-led and CODA-founded, with roots in Deaf culture, professional interpreting, and the Las Vegas live-event world. We treat access as part of hospitality, thinking beyond whether an interpreter is simply present and asking a better question: what will it take for the guest to be part of the experience?
How We Began
It began the weekend a Deaf entrepreneur stopped watching the show and started feeling it.
On his birthday in 2024, Eduardo Sesma attended a major Las Vegas event expecting the kind of access he had known many times before: interpreters were present, an access area was provided, and he still found himself working to stay connected to something happening just beyond reach.
Then the headliner came on. One of the interpreters was Lagundo Sandoval, a CODA and professional interpreter whose background in live performance shaped the way he carried the room. For Eduardo, the difference was immediate: the timing, energy, emotion, and meaning of the performance finally felt connected. When the interpreting rotation changed, so did that connection. When Lagundo returned, the feeling of being fully inside the experience returned with him.
Not all access iscreated equal.
For once, Eduardo was not watching a show happen around him. He felt part of it.
“I finally understood what hearing people feel like.” And underneath the joy was a harder realization: if access could feel this complete, why had it been so rare?
The question was never about anger. It was about possibility: how do we give this to more Deaf people? A Deaf entrepreneur and a CODA interpreter built Lagundo ASL Services around that question, Deaf leadership defining the standard and the company built to make thoughtful, culturally grounded access repeatable rather than exceptional.

Who Leads Us
Deaf-led, by design.
A Deaf co-founder defines the standard, from the perspective of the people access is meant to serve, and we build the work around it. This is not access that just meets the rules. It is access your guests feel, prepared, warm, and unmistakably theirs, so no one gets a lesser version.

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Eduardo Sesma
A Deaf entrepreneur, Deaf advocate, and founder of Sesmedia Enterprises, Eduardo is the mission and accessibility authority behind LAS, keeping Deaf culture, values, and perspective at the center of every decision. His lived experience inside the Deaf and hard of hearing world is the standard we hold every experience to. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, he leads from a life spent making sure everyone belongs in the room. When we say Deaf-led, we mean it at the very top.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Lagundo Sandoval
A CODA raised in American Sign Language, Lagundo grew up between the Deaf and hearing worlds with ASL as a first language. He brings more than a decade of professional interpreting, along with a background in live entertainment and ASL performance that has reached millions, shaped by the craft of the live room: timing, preparation, and presence. A U.S. Army veteran and Certified ADA Coordinator (ACTCP), he founded LAS to turn the standard he built through years of interpreting into something organizations and Deaf guests can rely on again and again.
Lived experience at the heart of it, a performer’s craft in every room.
Our Mission
Equal experiences. The standard, not the exception.
Lagundo ASL Services makes sure Deaf and hard of hearing people get the whole experience, through professional ASL interpreting delivered as hospitality.
Accessibility is art.
Our Values
What we hold ourselves to.
Access, Always
Access should never feel like an afterthought or something a guest has to ask for twice. We build toward experiences where communication access is considered from the beginning.
Excellence in Every Detail
A thousand small things held to the same high line. From preparation and placement to the way a guest is welcomed, the details matter.
Hospitality with Heart
Real care, not a technique. Guests leave feeling hosted, not handled.
Culturally Rooted
Our work is shaped from inside Deaf culture and American Sign Language, with Deaf leadership in the company itself. We do not approach the community from the outside and call that expertise.
Connection First
The reason the others exist. Compliance is the floor, and belonging is the standard we build toward.
Let’s build the night together.
Whether it is a panel, a performance, a conference, a festival, or something the room has never done before, communication access deserves to be considered from the beginning. Tell us what you are building, and we will design the access, staff the right team, and make the process clear from the first conversation through the final cue.
