Corporate & Conferences

Business runs on being understood.

From the all-hands to the keynote to a Deaf employee's onboarding, access is not a checkbox. It is how your people and your guests actually take part.

Corporate

Lagundo ASL Services provides American Sign Language interpreting for corporate meetings, all-hands, trainings, conferences, and product launches across Las Vegas and communities throughout Nevada, plus reasonable-accommodation support for Deaf and hard of hearing employees. Under the ADA, covered employers generally must provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees with disabilities unless doing so would be an undue hardship, and public-facing programs and events may also involve effective-communication obligations depending on the setting. We staff polished, professional interpreters matched to the room, on-site and virtually.

Why LAS

Why companies bring in LAS.

Deaf-led and professional.

Deaf leadership is built into how LAS approaches communication access, backed by the coordination and professionalism your organization expects.

Boardroom to ballroom.

A quiet team meeting, a company all-hands, a multi-day convention keynote. We bring the same craft and calm to every scale.

Employee accommodation, handled.

For Deaf and hard of hearing employees, we help coordinate communication access for interviews, onboarding, meetings, trainings, and other workplace needs.

Hybrid-ready.

On-site interpreting for the room, with VRI and remote captioning available for hybrid and virtual programs. We recommend the access approach based on the platform, setting, communication needs, and what will provide effective communication.

What We Cover

Across the business day.

All-hands and town halls. Trainings, workshops, and onboarding. Conferences, keynotes, and breakout sessions. Product launches and press events. Interviews and HR meetings. DEI and accessibility programming. Board meetings and investor events. Wherever your organization gathers, in a room or on a screen, communication access should be part of the plan.

Common Questions

Corporate access, answered.

Do we have to provide an interpreter for a Deaf employee?

Generally, under the ADA, covered employers must provide reasonable accommodation to qualified employees with disabilities unless doing so would be an undue hardship, which can include a sign language interpreter for meetings, trainings, and key events. LAS can help coordinate the interpreting once the communication need is identified. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

Can you interpret hybrid and virtual meetings?

Yes. We provide on-site interpreting, VRI, and remote captioning for hybrid and virtual programs. We recommend the access approach based on the platform, participants' communication needs, and what will provide effective communication.

How many interpreters does a conference need?

It depends on the length, schedule, content, and format. Longer or more complex sessions may require a team so interpreters can rotate and maintain performance across the program. You do not need to determine the staffing yourself. We staff the appropriate team and explain the reasoning.

Reliability

Ready when your moment is.

A clear answer.

Tell us about your event and we will review the details, confirm what we need, and prepare one clear proposal in writing.

Short notice, taken seriously.

When the timeline is tight, we move fast through our vetted Nevada network and tell you clearly what coverage is realistically available.

Settled before you arrive.

For booked events, we confirm the team, timing, logistics, and sightlines in advance so the access plan is clear before the event begins.

On-site or VRI, based on what works.

We recommend on-site interpreting, VRI, or a combination based on the setting, communication needs, technology, and what will provide effective communication.

Build access into the work.

Tell us about your meeting, event, conference, or employee need. We assign the appropriate interpreter or staff the appropriate team, plan the logistics, and prepare one clear, all-in proposal.
